I am among those that love doing research, in that process I come across a blog, I seriously laugh when I saw the blogger listing blogging as one of the works lazy people could start.
Don’t be deluded, you must be hardworking and persistent to succeed in blogging!
Can’t you see all these bloggers are slimy! Take me as an example, my friend John, Linda Ikeji, not even the giant Neilpatel, we are all slimy (Lol ! just kidding).
Now let me ask, are you tired of blogging?
I know blogging my be boring at times.
After setting up the blog, getting AdSense approval is another wahala!
After adsense , traffic keeps moving in reverse! Hold on, don’t quite yet.
I composed this article to rekindle your passion for blogging after its almost gone and you almost gave up, you can make it, and you can succeed.
POSSIBLE REASONS WHY YOU ARE BORED OF BLOGGING
1. YOU HAVE NOTHING TO WRITE
You may find it hard to write an article purposely because you have no interest in what you are writing.
You will end up having an empty blog, and you clearly know what that means, none will keep visiting an un-updated blog.
To solve this you need to first figure out the problem.
The possible reason may be you are not blogging on what you have passion and expertise.
It is very wrong to start blogging in a niche you are interested in.
Change your niche the one you love and have passion for!
2. YOU ARE NOT MAKING MONEY
One of the obvious reasons why you are bored of blogging is the fact the you have not yet earned a single $1 from it.
This reason is obvious, especially to those that joined blogging with the main aim of getting rich Quick.
Take blogging as a business, you can’t invest $500 today and expect $50000 tomorrow.
It requires patience, persistence and perseverance.
It takes time to start earning from a blog, so anyone that tell you that you start earning in a week is deceiving you.
Just invest your time, create unique articles and be original, then wait , you will surely get the fruits of your labor, not instantly but gradually.
3. LOW TRAFFIC
I know how it feels when you spend time compiling articles but end up getting little to no visits.
Visitors are what make blog live.
But the truth is if this happens, its either you don’t make an effort to drive visitors or you have no idea how to retain them.
If you get low to no traffic, then there must be something wrong with your SEO , it is time to work on it.
Creating a blog and composing unique articles isn’t just what you need to get your blog live, you need SEO.

And you can also consider promoting your blog on social networks like Facebook, twitter, Instagram, Pinterest etc.
Also share your blog to forum websites such as Nairaland, NCT forum and others.
And lastly, try Q & A websites, answer questions asked by newbies and reference your answer with your blog URL.

And if in case your visitors do not return to your blog after their first visit, consider reviewing your articles, may be while trying to get traffic to your blog, you forgot that you are writing the article for people not for google.

4. ADSENSE REJECTION
Do you get that frightening message that your blog is not approved ?!
That feels bad, bad indeed!
But not a viable reason to quite blogging for.
At least, even if you are blogging to make money, you are doing it for that purpose and not specifically for AdSense.
AdSense isn’t the only way, it is just one if the many ways you can use to monetize your blog.
You can check our other advertising networks which you can use as an alternative to Google AdSense.
You can also start affiliate marketing or start selling ebooks.

Linda Ikeji started her blogging career in 2006, this was the period that entertainment was just booming in Nigeria.
There was rarely any serious or engaging entertainment or news blog when she came. Only few like BellaNaija exist then.
She was the one that was largely responsible for her tuition and training when she was at university.
She was into modelling before , though she failed, she was even called a FAILED MODEL.
Undoubtedly, she is one of the richest enterprenuers in Nigeria and she even compete with some male millionaires.
If you think she made it out of luck, I can boldly say you are wrong.
She didn’t just have luck on her side, she also put in a lot of hard labor to achieve what she had achieved today, she worked for her riches.
2. JIDE OGUNSANYA
Jide started blogging in 2008 when it wasn’t popular.
He didnt opt in to the band wagon of entertainment and gossip.
Rather, he just did what he loved doing, his blog is all about blogging tutorials, web design, digital and information marketing.
He has being persistent for 11 years, and started blogging when it was literally unknown to Nigerians.
Jide has been an inspiration to many online enterprenuers.
3. NOBLE IGWE
Noble igwe is one of the most popular and successful blogger.
Igwe started his hustle from scratch and made it to the top of his career.
He was active as a blogger since 2009 and owns a lot of corporate organizations.
He is the founder of the 360 Nobs limited which is mainly involved with entertainment and related businesses.
4. UCHE EZE
Uchenna Jennifer Eze popular known as Uche Eze is the founder and Managing Director of Bainstone Limited and BellaNaija.com (Founded 2006).
Which is a pioneers online media industry in Nigeria.
Uche Eze started blogging as a hobby, to fill and occupy her boring moments.
But it later in changed into a successful blog.
All these prominent bloggers do not make it in a day, it take them years to succeed.
Who told you you won’t succeed also?
Has it being they quite out of frustration, they wouldn’t have reached where they are today.
Take blogging as a passion, you won’t get tired of it, and take it ax a business, you won’t expect to be successful instantly.
And remember, behind every successful glory, there is an expensive story.
